Privacy policy

What data, and where it comes from

This site has no forms. We only handle data if you write to us:

• —If you message us on WhatsApp: your phone number, whatever name you have set there, and the content of the conversation.
• —If you email us: your address and the content of your message.
• —If you call: your phone number.
• —Aggregated browsing data, if you accept analytics (see below).

What we use it for

Only to reply to you, arrange your trial class, and manage your participation in classes if you go on to join. We do not profile anyone, we send no marketing, and we pass your data to nobody.

Legal basis

• —Your consent, when you write to us of your own accord (GDPR art. 6.1.a).
• —Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, if you enrol (art. 6.1.b).

How long we keep it

Conversations with people who ask and do not join: one year. Data of people who enrol: for as long as the relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as legal obligations require.

WhatsApp

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation passes through the servers of WhatsApp Ireland Limited and is subject to their own privacy policy, over which we have no control. If you would rather avoid that, email info@matsukazedojo.com or call 697 927 696.

Cookies and analytics

This site asks for your consent before switching analytics on. Until you accept, Google Analytics runs in cookieless mode and stores nothing on your device; if you accept, it sets Google's own cookies (_ga and _ga_*), which distinguish visitors and sessions and expire after two years.

We also keep your answer in your browser, so that we do not ask again on every page. It is not a cookie and it goes nowhere: it stays on your device.

You can change your mind at any time from the “Cookies” link in the footer. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and takes effect immediately.

The typefaces and every image are served from this same domain: apart from analytics, nothing is loaded from a third party, so browsing here tells no other company your IP address.

Analytics only tells us how many people visit the site and which pages they read. We do not use it for advertising: ad personalisation is switched off at all times, whether you accept or not.

Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to info@matsukazedojo.com. If you believe we have not dealt with your request properly, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Minors

Regular classes are aimed at adults and at teenagers mature enough for them, always with their legal guardians' authorisation. We do not knowingly collect data from children under fourteen.
